Through Local Eyes is built on nearly two decades photographing the region, shaped by real experiences, strong relationships, and years spent hosting guests across the South West.
How it flows
The experience is built around your chosen lunch style, with the tastings, timing, and flow shaped to suit.
We usually begin with two carefully chosen morning tastings, pause for a considered lunch, then continue into one or two afternoon stops.
Optional photography experiences are also available for guests wanting the experience captured through local eyes.

Choose Masseria, Wise Winery, Wills Domain, or Vasse Felix for a more elevated lunch experience.
Once your lunch style is selected, we shape the tastings, timing, scenery, and flow around it.

Starting Slowly
The experience begins with one selected morning tasting, thoughtfully chosen to suit your lunch style and set the tone.
There’s no rushing, just time to take it in and let the morning open naturally.
Your morning tasting will include one of the following selected venues:
- Amelia Park elegant Chardonnay and Cabernet blends.
- Credaro classic Cabernet Sauvignon and crisp Chardonnay.
- Vallée du Venom small-batch, textural, creative wines.
Building the Day
The next stop adds contrast, offering a different style and perspective before lunch.
By now, the rhythm feels natural, your taste buds awakened by vibrant flavours and carefully selected wines.
Your second stop will include one of the following selected venues:
- Fermoy Estate polished Chardonnay and structured reds.
- Cherubino critically acclaimed in Cabernet, Shiraz, and Chardonnay.
- Maison Lassiaille French patisserie and garden setting with handcrafted desserts and high-tea treats.
Take it in, from vineyard to patisserie. This stop is about craft, flavour, and the small details that define the region at its best.
Woodlands
Cheese & Wine Lunch
A wine-led lunch set within a quiet, tucked-away estate, designed to keep everything flowing without interruption.
Centred around quality cheeses, grazing elements, and thoughtfully paired wines, the experience is light, social, and perfectly balanced within the overall rhythm.
There’s no pressure, just time to enjoy the surroundings and stay connected to the experience without it becoming too heavy or formal.

After lunch, the experience shifts into a gentler rhythm, with each stop adding something different.
Your afternoon stop will include one of the following selected venues:
- Temper Temper bold, handcrafted chocolate.
- Vasse Felix the founding estate; Cabernet and Chardonnay.
- Thompson Estate classic Cabernet and SSB.
Gentle light, thoughtful tastings, and space to linger.
Finishing the Day
The final stretch unfolds naturally, giving everything room to settle.
Your final stop will include one of the following selected venues:
- Lenton Brae elegant whites and refined Cabernet blends.
- Bettenays wines with house-made nougat and liqueurs.
- Cullen Wines expressive Cabernet and a relaxed cellar door.
A scenic drive home as the landscape softens.
Wise Winery
Coastal Lunch Experience
A three-course coastal lunch with a glass of wine, set above the ocean at Wise Winery.
The setting does most of the work here. Open views, sea air, and a coastal atmosphere that shifts the whole experience.
The food is simple, seasonal, and well put together, designed to match the surroundings without overcomplicating it.
This is a lighter, more open experience, with space to take in the view, the food, and the coastal atmosphere.
Winter Special:
Book three guests and the fourth is included for free.

Masseria
Italian Dining Experience
A more immersive lunch experience, centred around shared dishes and an inviting atmosphere.
Italian-inspired plates made for sharing, where quality ingredients and simple execution create a more engaging and food-led experience.
This is where conversation opens up, the food takes centre stage, and the experience becomes more personal.

Wills Domain
Estate Dining Experience
A refined three-course lunch experience built around seasonal produce, carefully prepared dishes, and sweeping views across the Gunyulgup Valley.
Entrée, main, and dessert are selected from Wills Domain’s seasonal à la carte menu, giving the experience a polished and considered feel.
Wine pairings, additional drinks, and premium menu supplements can be added directly with the venue.

Vasse Felix
Icon Lunch Experience
A five-course tasting experience paired with Vasse Felix Icon wines, set within Margaret River’s founding wine estate.
Each course builds with precision, matched to rare and highly regarded estate wines that show the depth of the region.
This is the most elevated lunch option, created for guests wanting the full Vasse Felix food and wine experience.
$575 per person
Coming from Perth?
Private Perth pickup can be arranged by request.
Because the journey south becomes part of the experience, the itinerary is adjusted. We usually replace the two morning winery stops with coffee and a scenic photo opportunity before your selected lunch experience.
After lunch, we continue with one or two carefully chosen tastings before returning to Perth.
Perth pickup is quoted separately, based on pickup location, guest numbers, and selected experience.
Photography Experience
For guests who want to take the experience further, this is a short scenic photography stop at a carefully chosen coastal or landscape location.
I’ll guide a light demonstration on how I see and capture the South West, while creating a small collection of finished images for you to keep.
Includes one finished high-resolution landscape image, along with up to six professionally finished couple or group images, ready to keep, share, or print for $220.
